About the charity

The Noah's Ark Appeal was set up to build, equip and further support the first dedicated children's hospital for Wales. After having raised over £12m to support phase one of the hospital, we are now looking ahead to the day phase two is open and are now aiming to raise a minimum of £4m. This will buy vital state-of-the-art equipment in the new critical care unit for children needing intensive and high dependency care. It will also purchase a special 'open' MRI scanner that allows parents to lie by the side of their child; this machine has lights, colour and music to distract the child.
