BUPA Great North Run 2005 · 18 September 2005 ·

Creating brighter todays and better tomorrows for the children of Wales. Our mission is to support the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales and the children and families within it. Every penny you raise goes towards supporting children who will need specialist and often life-saving treatment.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I am taking part in the Great North Run this September, with my wife Helen, to raise money for the Noah's Ark Appeal.

PLEASE sponsor me online to help the Noah's Ark Appeal to raise the money needed to complete a Teenage Cancer Unit at the Children's Hospital for Wales - Wales' first specialist teenage cancer unit.

The Wooden Spoon Society has sponsored me for £250,000 to take part in the Great North Run. This incredibly generous donation has been earmarked for another vital project at the hospital, so the Noah's Ark Appeal still needs your help the to reach the £300,000 target needed to complete the Teenage Cancer Unit. Please help if you can.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Noah's Ark Appeal will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please sponsor me. Every penny will help us to make a huge difference to many young lives. If you'd like to join me in doing something active to help raise money for the Teenage Cancer Unit, why not join me in the 'Get Fit, Get Healthy, Get Giving' campaign. You could change the lives of Welsh teenagers with cancer whilst improving your own health. Find out more by visiting the Noah's Ark Appeal website at www.noahs-ark-appeal.org. Thank you so much for your support, Jonathan.
