Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I have worked for The Children's Trust for nearly 9 years and am passionate about what we do. I am sure like me you are busy buying Christmas presents and organising evenings out with colleagues and friends but can I ask you spare a moment to make Christmas extra special for children with profound disabilities at The Trust.
Christmas is a time where it is important for families to spend as much quality time together as possible at Christmas. Some of our children are able to go home for a few days. But for those children who aren’t able to go home, we will make sure that Christmas at the Trust is special. We are for ever coming up with new ideas that reflect the children’s particular interests. They will be able to take part in festive activities like visiting Father Christmas, going to parties or watching pantomimes. And there are presents and surprises for everyone, too.
I’m sure you’ll appreciate that all these festive activities cost money, and we rely on the donations from supporters like yourself to help us make Christmas special at The Children’s Trust. Just £18 could pay for a child to go wheelchair ice skating with their carer. Please make a donation today. Whatever you give will be greatly appreciated by the children and the staff, so please give whatever you can.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas from everyone at The Children’s Trust.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Children's Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please be generous and make a donation today
Many thanks for your support.
