Breast cancer is serious business and that is why I have decided to take part in the Great Wall of China Challenge in April 2009. I will be trekking 60km of the wall over five days with a group of friends. We are working hard on fundraising and on our fitness levels!
It is amazing how many peoples lives this terrible disease affects. Friends and work colleagues have fought this illness and an aunt of mine unfortunately lost her battle many years ago.
Research requires funding and it is through this that cures to diseases are found. If one day a cure is found all those who have contributed will have played a vital role.
