London Marathon 2017 · 23 April 2017 ·

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I, unfortunately, had to defer from VLM 2017 due to injury, but I'm gunning for the 2018 race :)

I can currently run 10 miles without stopping and my aim is to run a marathon (26.2 miles) on one of the biggest stages, London! It'll take some hard work, graft and pain. But this is nothing compared to the hard work and graft the RNIB provide to sight impaired people on a daily basis. It is also nothing compared to the pain sight impaired people must feel when they can no longer see the face of their loved ones or enjoy simple experiences like watching a football match.

Visual impairment is a very real thing. It is easy to ignore until your in those shoes. Help me, help those, that help sight impaired people. If they don't who else will.

I am also donating some profits from my practices to help this great cause and I'd really appreciate your help to.
