My story

It can be easy to take life's little blessings for granted, especially if you live and work in your own bubble within a thriving metropolis.  Having drinking water, food and clothing at hand is almost like having air to breathe - we couldn't imagine life without those things.

Yet millions around the world suffer from the lack of such basic necessities, living in poverty and desperation.  Among those millions are children who are denied the minimum healthcare, education and protection just to help them build simple, normal lives.

This fundraising effort may be but a drop in the ocean compared to what is needed to change this world, but Mother Teresa put it most aptly when she said - "we cannot do great things on this Earth, only small things with great love".

Your donations to my humble contribution would be greatly appreciated!  Every little bit counts as you can see below:

£5 can heat a classroom in Afghanistan for a month

£10 can cover one month supplementary feeding expenses for a malnourished child

£53 can equip a school with basic equipment like pens, paper, and books for a year

£100 can cover the training costs of five community health promoters in Ethiopia

Please also remember to use Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer so your money goes further - and thank you for your generosity!
