We're the Parent Teacher Association for Chorlton Park Primary School. The school is the biggest primary in Manchester and the PTA is there to help create a school community and provide extras

Story

On Sunday 16th May, 30 intrepid runners will take to the streets of Manchester and do battle with their bodies as they take part in the Manchester 10k. This in all in aid of the children of Chorlton Park School. Most of our runners are parents, aunties or uncles of children in the school, but this year we have two celebrity staff couples: our own superhead, David Watson and his wife Ena (who apparently is training to be the fastest Watson on the day!) and the lovely Gina Johnson and her husband Craig.

All of our runners could have chosen to run for one of the other fantastic charities participating in the 10k. Instead, they chose to raise money for our children, so show your support by making a donation here. Every pound you donate will earn another 28p in Gift Aid, so your efforts are well-rewarded too!

All the money raised from the 10k will be used to improve music provision in the school. From the tiddlers in the nursery, to the sophisticated Year 6-ers, all of our children love to sing, dance and have the chance to play instruments (remember last year's 'Chorlton Park's Got Talent'?!) . It makes them happy and boosts their confidence. The money we raise will improve exisiting equipment and let the school branch out a little more.

PS 'Chorlton Park's Got Talent' is set to return this July, so give generously and see the fruits of your donation!
