Thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored me.

Your generosity has been overwhelming and is currently enabling the creation of a series of regional Recovery Houses being built across the UK which will serve as the last stage of rehabilitation before wounded service personnel return to their unit or transit back into civilian life.

The challenge wasn't without it's challenges(!) with a good, widespread bout of gastroenteritis thrown in at the halfway mark to make things interesting just incase everything was going too smoothly and we were too close to civilisation. But it could have been worse, I can now tighten my belt an extra three notches, the temperature stayed just above freezing at night and at least it doesn't rain for long in the Sahara!!
