This song highlights the unease or helplessness we can sometimes  feel around the homeless or less fortunate people than ourselves. Sometimes people fall on bad luck, make a wrong decisions or grow up in a difficult environment. These people are brothers, sons, mothers, daughters. Family or friends to someone. Would you care if it were your family or friend?
