Story

Much-loved Christopher Kane passed away on 20th January after a short battle against amyloidosis, a very rare illness. This page offers tributes and charitable donations in his memory.

So many of us all have so many happy, fond, and very funny memories of Chris - he truly was one in a million, who brought happiness and laughter to his wife, children, grandchildren and many, many friends.

The family has requested that memorial donations may be made either to The UCL Amyloidosis Research Fund or St Catherine’s Hospice. Amyloidosis is such a rare illness that needs to be further understood. The work that UCL carry out is critical for the future treatment of those unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with the illness. St Catherine's Hospice gave Chris wonderful care, attention and dignity during his illness, for which the family will always be grateful.
