CHRIS' CHANNEL SWIM CHALLENGE

 

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

 

As you may be aware I am swimming The Channel as part of a team of four in late August this year. I am partly doing this for the challenge and to raise money for charity.

My target is to raise £1,500 for the charity CLIC Sargent which helps out young children that have been diagnosed with cancer. This is a great charity and it would be fantastic to achieve my target for them.

I am training in the river 3-4 times a week in order to try and get fit for the swim and am going to take part in a few competitions between now and then in order to spice things up a bit and keep things interesting. I'll put a news section at the bottom and try and keep this as up to date as possible so you can see what I have been up to!!

As an added incentive to part with your cash, if I raise my target, I will swim in the brightest pink trunks that I can find and post a photo up here for you all to see. No money - no pink trunks!! Here’s what I’ve found so far – any favourites?

All of your money will go direct to the charity and none will be used to pay for the costs of the boat taking us across etc.
