I have decided to enter the London 10K on Sunday 6th July to raise money for a local hospice in memory of Bill MacDonald, who passed away in March. Those of you that know me well may have noticed that I'm well overweight (unflattering picture displayed on the left) - time to start training for the run! There was only one Bill MacDonald. A great man, who fostered and drove the most amazing team spirit. Bill gave many people like me the opportunity to taste success, and then encouraged us to keep on going. He was simply the UK software industry's top dog. I was lucky to work for Bill at Candle, Goal Systems, and MAXM, and each was a great experience. I will never forget those great times. Bill always remained focused on family, both his own and his interest in each of ours. It was a pleasure and an honour working with such a great man. The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice serves around 600,000 people in the West Surrey / North East Hants area, and cares for people and their families facing a life limiting illness. Donating through this site is the most efficient way to sponsor me: Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now, and many thanks for your support.
