One day in the week commencing 15 June (weather permitting), I hope to be setting off from Tarifa in Spain to swim across the Gibraltar Strait to Morocco.  About 12 miles of water (or more, if we get swept away by the currents) shared by sharks, whales, jellyfish and rather a lot of shipping .... and my son and me!
