<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">A great friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer in her neck last year.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"> </span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">If it wasn’t for the research and care that is funded by UK cancer charities, then she may well not be with us today.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"> </span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Just before the start of her treatment last year I made her a promise (in my usual subtle, caring style). I told her “if you don’t die, I will do a charity bike ride for you in 2011”.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">So I now have to keep my promise, and will be taking part in the Suffolk Coast 60 mile ride on August 7<sup>th</sup>.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"> </span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">I’m trying to raise as much as possible, so please donate what you can.</span></span></p>
