A great friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer in her neck last year.
If it wasn’t for the research and care that is funded by UK cancer charities, then she may well not be with us today.
Just before the start of her treatment last year I made her a promise (in my usual subtle, caring style). I told her “if you don’t die, I will do a charity bike ride for you in 2011”.
So I now have to keep my promise, and will be taking part in the Suffolk Coast 60 mile ride on August 7th.
I’m trying to raise as much as possible, so please donate what you can.
