Well we made it! After a really hot, hard race (miles of cobbles) Diane and I both completed the distance.

I was really pleased with a time of 3:33 though my legs have been incredibly sore and stiff since then, it was definitely worth it.  Diane did a fantastic 3:48.

Many thanks to everyone who sponsored me - I thought about the cause and your kindness as I fought my way onwards.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Anyone who knows me will be aware my wife, Diane, has done plenty of marathons, and I have to date resolutely refused to follow suit.  Well, every man has his breaking point and Di has finally pursuaded me to join her for the Prague Marathon.

I'm in the thick of training, and trying to avoid injury which feels an ever present danger. I've been out running at the crack of dawn, late at night, in snow, sleet and rain - familiar territory to any marathon runner but hard work nonetheless!  Hopefully I'll get to the Finish though, even if I have to crawl it - at least Diane will be there to meet me (showered, changed and supping a nice hot cuppa).

Please give generously; b-eat is a charity which helps people and families through really cruel eating disorders. I know they make a real difference to these families, and they need our support. Thanks!
