My story
Dear All,
This is the first chapter in the quest to satisfy my masochistic tendencies:-)!!
I am doing the marathon for a number of reasons but predominantly because I have been affected by loved ones suffering a stroke. My Aunt passed away very suddenly a few years ago which made me realise how fragile and vulnerable we all ultimately are, and secondly my mum had a bad stroke last year which has left her both bed ridden and unable to communicate or even do the simplest things in life which we take for granted.
Anyway I feel the urge (I must be mad!!) to have a gentle canter (or stagger) around London in April and give a little bit back for all the help and care given to my family. Soooooooooooooooo as a little bit of encouragment (or a lot!!)I would like you all to dig deep......and give generously to this very worthwhile charity.
