After successfully completing the Velo Vosges, Chris is pedalling back for more… this time the road is longer!

On 24th May 2009 Chris will be participating in the Masif Midi Challenge… 535 miles in 7 days! Cycling from Bordeaux to Chateauneuf du Pape, climbing nearly 12,000 meters.  

“The route passes through the Midi region of southern France, along the river Dordogne, past the premier French “site” of Rocamadour before climbing into the southern Massif Central, rounding the 1787 meter high Puy Mary before heading south east over more mountains, past lakes and through amazing gorges to the Avignon Popes’ summer palace at Chateauneuf du Pape.”

The event is organised by Challenge Adventure Charities and all sponsorship raised will go directly to MacMillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK. Riders are “extra” ordinary people rising to a physical challenge.
