We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 25th April 2010 I will be running the London Marathon, not only as a great personal achievement for me, but more importantly to raise sponsorship for a worthy cause. I have chosen to raise money for the Royal National Institute of Blind People, the UK's leading charity helping anyone with sight problems.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I hope you will be most generous in supporting my chosen charity, and each pound donated will add a little extra motivation for me to complete the 26 miles and 385 yards.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you

Chris

About the charity

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.
