My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Kettering General Hospital Charity Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

In May 2009 I'll be cycling from Lands End to John O Groats - with a difference - it will be completely alone and unsupported and funded entirely by myself - in terms of both time off and expenses on the way. I'll be carrying tent, sleeping bag, spares, cooking gear etc with me.

All funds raised will be used to improve Kettering Hospital's Cardiac Care Unit which currently has only very basic after care facilities for heart patients and their families.

Special Poeple:

========

March 2009

Ferrers Technical Services have contributed - what a contribution Paul, Thanks! And my own employer - Enigma Computer Services - has donated two days holiday - just because I made it into the office when it snowed. Thanks Chris and Jake!

Family and friends have kicked off the sponsorship too now. And Penny from The Cambridge Diet is helping me get some sponsors.

Mike at Cambridge Diet has donated as have some of the QA staff in the lab. Not forgetting Jason at Contract Consulting who added to the lab pot.

Malcolm from Manfred Sauer also gave on behalf of MSUK. Many thanks to you all.

Last day of the month and a special thankyou to Eileen Skinner- this is the second time Eileen has made a personal donation in 6 months. Making The World a Smaller Place - The Cambridge Diet!

April 2009

The amazing Silver Stetson Line Dancing club members made a donation and they don't even know me!

HSE Nooteboom in Corby has pledged 45 quid if I finish so thanks to Heather, Paul, Graham, John and Nigel!

And the people at Satra Innovation Park, where I work have started to donate - more on that shortly.

June 2009

I finished on June 1st at John ' Groats! When I got back my Employer had sponsored me big time!! So thanks Enigma Computer Services. Enigma also gave me some space on their web site. So that's where I put my blog of the whole trip. Visit the story of the trip at
