Cancer Research UK
Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses.
Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

| My personal message: |
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
I recently took part in the 2005 Flora London Marathon to raise money for Cancer Research UK in memory of my father, Martyn Fox, who died of cancer in 2003. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so far - if you haven't already sponsored me it's not to late to do so!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
I finished the race in 4:31:16, which was not as fast as I hoped (I was hit by fairly bad cramp in my calves just after 18 miles, which forced me to walk most of the last 8), but I just about managed to get to the end in one piece.
Many thanks for your support.
