Hello everyone and thanks for visiting my fundraising page,
On the 26th of April 2009 I will be joining 46 and half thousand others in what can only be described as a tortuous journey of pain and suffering through the streets of our capital. I am, of course, talking about the 28th London Marathon.
But I am doing it for two very good reasons:
1 - because I have been running now for 3 years completing many races from 5km to half marathons and I want to test myself on the most famous marathon in the world.
2 - because it's for a fantastic cause - Phab Kids
Phab aims to promote and encourage people with and without physical disabilities to come together on equal terms, to achieve complete integration within the wider community and to make more of life together. http://www.phabkids.co.uk/
Unfortunately, I won't be wearing a fake gorrila mask or dressed as a giant halibut but please, please, please donate something...anything so that we can help this really worthwhile charity out. Right, I will stop the Bob Geldof impression now (unless i receive no sponsors, in which case the expletives will begin).
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Phab gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Huge thanks in advance,
Chris
