Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Our son Alex died of meningitis on the 19th December 2006 at the age of 17. He was a beautiful and talented young man cruelly taken from us by this awful disease. The Meningitis Trust offer support to many families similarly affected by meningitis and septicaemia.

Well I did it!! Five hours and thirty six minutes to get around the course - not bad for an old man of fifty five!! The  calves, glutes and toenails are all protesting but the sense of achievement is overwhelming. I am so grateful for everybdoy's support, you have been wonderful, and I am delighted at the sponsorship total.

A big thank you also to Tex and Pete without whose encouragement I would never have attempted this event.
