I'm running the London Marathon on 26th April 2009 to raise money for the Myfanwy Townsend Melanoma Research Fund. This is in light of close experience. A very close friend, Kerry O'Dwyer, is currently battling this terrible disease.
This charity funds research to promote awareness of this deadly skin cancer that affects 1 in 50 in Britain with a very high death rate and funds research to help find a cure.
The incidence of Malignant Melanoma is doubling every 10 years.

Neil Galloway and I have spent many years battling for the number one all round sportsman award. for the next couple of months Neil has decided "If you can't beat em, join em"
I'm delighted Neil has joined me to create the "2009 London Marathon Dream Team"
Neil will be running with me (at least until he gets bored of my snails pace!) to help raise even more money for the Melanoma Research Fund.
