Chris was always determined to make the most of every opportunity sent his way. Following his operation in February 2007, the support available couldn't be faulted. We always felt lucky to live in a place where such amazing opportunities are readily available.
500 miles is a charity aiming to support amputees and people with other disabilities in parts of the world where people are less fortunate. If other people can benefit from such support in even a fraction of the way that Chris was able to then we are doing some good.

On Sunday 30th May 2010 a group of our close friends walked a very hilly 20 miles each, to collectively walk 500 miles of the Sussex Coast. Thank you to everyone who took part, everyone who supported us with donations of equipment, food, T-Shirts and design and to everyone who sponsored us and helped to raise an amazing £5069 so far! On 27th November 2011 my Mum, Brenda Graham, turned 60 (!) and in place of any gifts for herself she has asked friends and family to kindly donate to 500 miles instead. Thank you to everyone who has contributed and raised over another £500!
