My story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor our online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Pancreatic Cancer UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you,
So please sponsor us now, in the Reading half marathon.

A special thanks to our gramp, Micheal Lygo for supplying the pancreatic cancer t-shirts which we will be wearing on the day.

Our father Christopher Lygo was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June 2003, he wasn't just a father he was a friend  a mentor and a hero to us all, but suddenly after 2 years he passed away on may 10th 2005 aged 52. Our dad showed great courage and determination during his battle against pancreatic cancer. He fought right to the end.  One of dad's dying wishes was for everyone he knew to please help raise money and awareness for pancreatic cancer.  This is why we want to give our support to pancreatic cancer uk. If you need support you can goto http://www.maggiescentres.org  Maggie's Centres support people with cancer, their families and friends in dealing with cancer. It is located in the blue oncology outpatients at the Church Hill Hospital, Oxford. Tel:01865 225690.

A big thank you to everyone who has sponsored on-line and on sponsor forms and a special thanks to Louise Wilkins, Yvonne Moir, Sara Malin and Kat Peck for helping the Lygo's in the Reading marathon.
