This event has now finished. On the 3rd of May 2011 David Berrich, David Morrison and I left Milngavie and embarked on the West Highland Way.  When we got to Fort William, David Berrich and I continued on the East Highland Way.  We walked a total distance of just over 120 miles to raise money for Music in Hospitals.  Although this event is finished, any donations made through this page are still more than welcome as the money goes straight to the charity.
I chose to raise money for Music in Hospitals because I have first hand experience of seeing how worthwhile the charity is.  Groups from my old high school would perform in care homes around christmas time.  By doing this, I learned how live music can be such a joy for some of the more vulnerable groups in the society.  I genuinely believe that Music in Hospitals is a worthwhile charity and deserves support.
Thank you for your continued support,
Chris MacKinnon
