Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On March 7th, 2013 I will be flying out to Kathmandu in Nepal to begin an 18 day trek to the base camp of the worlds highest mountain, Mount Everest. During the trek I will experience one of the most terrifying flights known to man, flying into an airstrip only 350m long, perched on the edge of a mountain! I will then experience temperatures dropping to as low as -30 degrees as well as having to battle altitude sickness, while i trek through glaciers, cross raging rivers and avoid some serious drops! The trek will eventually get me to base camp, which at 5,357m (17,575 ft) is higher than unpressurized airplanes can fly! If that wasnt enough, the following day I will ascend the summit of Kalapatthar (5,647m)!

The British Heart Foundation works tirelessly with an aim to eradicate premature death from heart disease and to care for those that suffer with it.
