I have put a team together to enter an event called the Wildboar24, a 24 hour mountainbike race in Grizedale Forest, Cumbria. The team is made up of myself, Mark Fuller, Iwan Watkin and Alex Roberts. We are looking to raise money for Sheffield Hospital Charitable Trust, in particular the Sheffield Leukaemia and Blood Disorders Appeal. As you may or may not know, my dad has suffered from a type of cancer called myeloma. He was treated at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield. As a way of saying thank you to the staff and hospital, we want to raise as much money as possible to enable them to improve the facilities they have.
