Thanks for visiting Team Coffey's fundraising page.
The members of Team Coffey have 'volunteered' to run the asics British 10k London run in order to raise money for the Duchenne Family Support Group. These crazy/brave/suicidal/mad individuals need all the support they can get and you can support them by making a donation now!
The Duchenne Family Support Group is a national charity run by, and for families affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a progressive muscle wasting condition that is life limiting. Currently there is no cure for this devastating condition. Support is provided to the families in the form of subsidised holidays, days out and events, regular Newsletter and a 'network of contact families' providing a conduit for general and specialist information about the condition.
All the money raised will be dedicated to my son Richard's memory, who sadly died in February 2007 from DMD.
So please sponsor the team now!
More information on the work of the charity can be found by clicking one of the links above.
PS I did enter myself but had to pull out because of injury - honest! -my daughter is running in my place, please make it worth her while! - Chris Patterson
