Story

Thanks for visiting and making a donation

After many years of training and competing, I feel it is time to start to give something back ...

This year I will be raising money for 2 charities, The Rotary Ironman UK Charity and Balfour Beatty's Building Better Futures.  Any monies raised will be split equally between the charities.

I plan to train for and race in 5 main events in 2009, the UK Ironman 70.3 triathlon at Wimbleball, London Mazda Olympic Triathlon, Germany 70.3 triathlon, Vitruvian Middle Distance Triathlon and the Ford Ironman 70.3 World Championship in November 2009 in Florida.  There wil also be many Half Marathons, Road Races and smaller Triathlons inbetween to keep me out of trouble and build ytowards this main goals ...

The UK Ironman 70.3 triathlon, held at Wimbleball Lake, Exmoor, consists of a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile bike and a 13.1 mile run. 1,500 athletes compete for an opportunity to qualify for one of the 100 qualifying slots for the Ford Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Clearwater, Florida.

Please help me raise some money during my quest to get to the 70.3 World Championships in Florida at the end of the year.

Many thanks for your support and hopefully see some of you out there.

Cheers

Chris
