We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

Welcome

'Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying 'I will try again tomorrow''

WOWY HEHE I did it :) It was the best week of my life hehe I feel so honoured and privileged to have seen the most amazing, spectacular and awe-inspiring country with the most amazing people hehe The new friendships I have made will last forever, and the wonderful memories will never ever be forgotten. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all for donating and supporting me - I could not have done it without you hehe

And I thank God - without His love and strengh, I would have never done this - He gave me immense courage, and He heard and answered my prayers. Amen !

Cancer affects each and every one of us, either personally or through someone we know. The sad truth is that 1 in 3 people will suffer from cancer in their lifetime and 1 in 4 of us will die from cancer. Most people with a terminal illness would prefer to spend their final days at home. Sadly, only a quarter currently achieve this wish.

My name is Chris Daniels but you can call me Chrissy D or Potter hehe

By God’s grace, I am healthy and strong enough to help fight for those who are currently battling cancer. I am ready to push forward and fight on behalf of others. I am immensely proud to be supporting and raising hugely important funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care; this wonderful charity with its exceptional dedicationto cancer sufferers and their families is truly inspirational.

Will you join me in praying for the immensely brave and infinitely courageous people who are cruelly forced to endure such a challenging journey .. No-one should have to fight cancer! But the amazing nurses of Marie Curie Cancer Care ensure that these souls need not fight alone. I want to do everything I can to help fund this organization; and honour these heroic people - each with a unique story of strength, faith and hope amongst extreme adversity!

I impore you all to pray to God, and ask Him to use you to be a light for those that walk in the darkness - for we all are meant to shine

Canadian Trek 2013 September 21st - 28th

I am trekking the Canadian Rockies in September 2013 with the aim of raising as much money as possible for Marie Curie Cancer Care; it will be extremely challenging yet ultimately rewarding, as every pound raised and each prayer recieved will give hope to millions, and helps us fight a little harder against this disease. I am improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families; to honour those fighting for their lives right now.

‘Your last moments should mean as much as your first’

I am really excited because it is an amazing chance for me to give back to an organization that has given so much to my family and I ..

My dear Grandad, Kenneth Daniels was in the Royal Air Force and fought for freedom in the Second World War; he is a war hero and a massive inspiration to me, and I miss him millions. I have been blessed by the Almighty God to have has such a wonderful friend who taught me truth, kindness, honesty, compassion, courage and the willpower to never give up.

On 16th May 2006, my Grandad lost his long battle with cancer .. I was heartbroken - to this day, I still remember my brother and I crying like crazy on my Mum's shoulder.

But my family and I were all comforted by the amazing dedication, loyality and outstanding care, which Marie Curie Cancer Care provided - it is because of them that my Grandad's final wish of spending his last days at home was fulfilled - for this, I am eternally appreciative.

Please look deep into your hearts and donate whatever you can hehe :)
