The Lions Hospice cares for those with life shortening illness. They care for those with cancer and other diseases including Motor Neurone Disease, AIDS, organ failure and many more. Offering physical, emotional and social support to patients and their loved ones during and after their illness, Hospice care is free of charge.

Our personal message:

Friends and colleagues know that I enjoy cycling and have completed some rather crazy cycles in the past so I often get asked when the next one will be.  Well here is the answer:  I am going take part in the Dunwich Dynamo on 19 July this year.

Is this crazy?  Yes!  The ride is a turn-up-and-go challenging slightly-scary free-entry overnight on-road 120 mile bicycle ride. Leaving Hackney Marshes in N E London at about 9pm and arriving at Dunwich on the Suffolk coast sometime between 7 and 9 the next morning.  Although I do cycle regulary I haven't cycled this far in one go before now.

What more can I say apart from please sponsor me?  Whilst you are "a bed" on Saturday 19 July I will be out raising money for Ellenor Lions Hospices.  That will make you feel good and sleep even more soundly!!!
