Thank you for visiting this fundraising page in memory of Christian Thunhurst, who died suddenly in Bermuda from acute heart failure on 26th January 2007. He was just 34 years old. His death has left the most enormous hole in a lot of lives, not least those of his wife Nicola and their baby, Dominic, born on May 1st 2007; his parents John and Liz, his sister Lucinda and many close friends, family members and colleagues. Christian lived life to the full. He took pleasure from small successes and big events, from spending time with his wife and family to playing golf, sailing with friends or simply meeting to eat and drink and laugh with those who meant the most to him. He was a kind and generous man, brimming with laughter and compassion, with plans and ambitions for a happy and successful family life and business career. He was full of joy and anticipation about becoming a father and took his work and family responsibilities seriously. There is not enough room on this page to do justice to Christian. Hopefully you can tell that he would want something good and practical to come from his death, and we can think of no better way of honouring his memory than raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Cardiac Risk in the Young will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you. Please donate generously.
Many thanks for your support.
