Thanks for visiting my fundraising page in aid of LOROS, The Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice.

Yes - It's that time of year when I decide that I should really challenge the old body and start some training!! So here goes, but before all that why are you here? but to donate to my favorite Charity, LOROS.

LOROS is in the process of building 11 single rooms for the patients and their families, this will enable great flexibilty to the care provided at the Hospice.

Phase 11 should be completed by August 2009 but LOROS still needs to raise £800,000 to complete the £2million project this is on top of our annual targets of £4.5million.  So you can see every penny and every pound really will does make a difference.  So my Marathon funds this year are to be allocated to the Capital Appeal to help boost the coffers.
