Story
On Saturday the 29th October, I am challenging myself to complete a Trek through Northern Vietnam. This will be 10 days Trekking through the hills and jungle, starting off walking 5hrs working up to 9hrs a day.
This will be a massive challenge for me both physically and financially and most probably mentally considering it involves many of the things I hate most. Extreme exercise, heat and sleeping in the jungle with creepy crawlies! Eeekkk why am I doing this!!
I am doing this for NCB, a children’s charity working to promote the health and well-being of children and young people, across every aspects of their lives. It does this through working to: reduce inequalities in childhood, ensure children and young people have a strong voice in all matters that affect their lives, promote positive images, enhance health and well-being, and encourage positive and supportive family and other environments. It’s very important and something I really believe in as it will have a long and lasting impact on all children and young people across the UK.
So, I have decided to throw myself into it and put all my blood, sweat and tears into getting to the finish line! I have never asked for sponsorship from anyone for anything before, and I promise I will never do anything like this again. I am calling on everyone out there to please help me raise this massive target, which is going to a really great cause! I know times are hard so am willing to work for your donations. If you want me to bake cakes, clean cars, baby-sit or ANYTHING else you need, (within reason) then I will do it for a donation! VERY IMPORTANT !!
