I have seen the marvellous work of CORDA and the enormous success the charity has achieved over the last 30 years.  As a result of their early pioneering work the world's most advanced Unit for the early detection of heart disease and strokes has been established here in London at the Royal Brompton Hospital.  These are still the biggest killers in our society and their early detection by non-invasive methods is now possible as a result of CORDA's work.
