My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I would appreciate any help that you could provide. If you are one of many that do not like paying online, then you can still support me as I am obtaining sponsorship offline as well, all money generated offline will be listed on this site. Thank you!

Please do not worry about donating through this site it is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: BIBIC - British Institute for Brain Injured Children will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Personal message;

I would like to generate money for BIBIC, due to the fact that we have been fighting the system for over 7 years, to obtain the medical help that is needed for both Thomas and Josh via conventional methods.

BIBIC are the only organisation, that have listened to our concerns/worries that we have with regards to the children. From the initial point of contact with this organisation, there has been ongoing support from all members of the team.

As parents the help and support that is provided by BIBIC, is priceless. We feel as if a weight has been lifted from our shoulders after the constant worrying, fighting for both of the boys legal entitlements to obtaining medical assessments!

The reason families use the services that BIBIC provide is mainly due to the fact that the children are assessed by a multidisciplinary team who are based under one roof. This certainly takes the pressure off parents, when they need different specialist advice/support ,specifically  geared for the neurological/physical,social/emotional and educational problems that affect their children.

By helping us to support this charity, you will gain pleasure in knowing that not only Josh and Thomas will be receiving the help that we desperately need for them other children/families will also gain in the process!

If you feel that your friends/colleagues would be interested in supporting this organisation, then please would you be so kind as to forward the information to them.

For more information and to read about other children that BIBIC have helped please visit their website at http://www.bibic.org.uk/newsite/general/casestudies.htm

All donations whether large or small, are very much appreciated, the BIBIC team work very hard and go out of their way to help children and families, nothing is too much trouble for them........without this form of help life is very hard for some families in our position!!

Thank you.
