I've done it! It was an amazing experience. I realised again how much I hate camping but it was worth it to spent the night so close to the Wall and continue the trek early in the morning. Our chinese crew was fantastic and our guide gave us loads of insight. It was a privileg to spend those days in rural China. We were nowhere near the earthquake but heard about it. I have left with lots of impressions and thoughts about China and the chinese people.

As you know, the purpose of the challenge was to raise funds for the Church Mission Society (CMS) and in particular for their work in remote and restricted areas. CMS provide a lot of practical support (e.g. medication, food; they run rehabilitation centres) to people of all faiths who are in need.

I would be grateful if you could generously sponsor my challenge. ich hab's geschafft! Es war ein grosses Abenteuer. Ich habe mich wieder erinnert, dass ich zelten ueberhaupt nicht mag - aber es hat sich gelohnt, so mitten in der Pampa in der Naehe der Mauer zu uebernachten. Unsere chinesische Crew war fantastisch und unser Fuehrer hat uns wertvolle Informationen geliefert. Ein eindrueckliches Erlebnis und ich habe viel mitgenommen. 

Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ihr das Projekt finanziell unterstützen würdet. Da ich für die Reisekosten selber aufgekommen bin, geht die gesamte Summe an CMS.
