Dear friends! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page! On May 25th I will take part in the BUPA 10 km run in central London. This will be my very first marathon... and the first time I participate in a charity event of this kind. I am very excited and determined to give it all I've got! I don't really know what to expect - but my dog is putting me through a fierce exercise regime, Simon is practicing his cheer-leading routines, and if you decide to make a contribution, it will make me run even faster! This is my motivation: - How many times have you thought "if only there was an organisation that really makes a difference, by teaching people in need useful techniques and knowledge which makes a long term, sustainable difference to their lives"? Well, this is exactly what Self Help Africa does. By understanding the particular circumstances and conditions of the areas they work in, they come up with real solutions - ways which enable people to overcome poverty and give them a new, hopeful outlook on their lives. Help them to continue making a difference.
