Paddington Waterside Partnership, as part of its Time for Paddington programme has linked up with various charities and community organisations in the Paddington area to bring some extra Christmas cheer to the less fortunate. 

Resolutions express a desire to accomplish something great or new, perhaps something you have never done before. Most of us make New Year resolutions, so why not try a Christmas one for a change - it does not ask for much, but is fun and feels good!

The idea is to 'resolve' to be more charitable this Christmas by donating to someone less fortunate.  Then spread the word and spread the sentiment too!

This page has been set up for Bayswater Families Centre, part of Action for Children.  It is a means of receiving gifts online as an alternative to an actual gift giving.  There will be a gift-giving ceremony where all actual gifts will be handed over to the local charities on 15th December 2009.

Just to give you a little information about this particular charity - the Bayswater Families Centre works with homeless families living in temporary accommodation.  Your gifts will bring Christmas to these families and give children learning opportunities in their home environment.
