Hello everyone.

As some of you may already know I go running quite a lot, this has
been purely for my own benefit and enjoyment up until now.

Last year my grandad was diagnosed with vascular dementia,
unfortunately the illness was at quite an advanced stage and caring
for him at home became an impossible task. After much soul searching
my family had to do what was best for grandad and find a place for him
in a nursing home, in doing so he would receive the specialist care he
needed on a day to day basis.

So on the 5th June I won't be running for myself, but for my family. I will
be running the Stockholm Marathon and all money raised will go to the
Alzheimer's Society.
