London Bikeathon 2013 · 15 September 2013 ·

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is the start of a journey..... After previously cycling from London to Brighton a few years ago I am now inspired to complete my cycling dream in 2014 by pedalling from Lands End to John O’Groats (1000 miles) whilst helping many good causes along the way. There are many charities close to my heart and the preparation for this monumental event will take a lot of training. The training for this epic eventual ride will also be very challenging and I would like to raise money in the build-up for all my favoured charities before the big event. I will finally select one charity to support, at the start of 2014, for the biggest challenge of my life and I will select the charity that means the most to me and I hope that all of you will support me and my beliefs to make a difference with something that will push the realms of physicality for me and deserving of the money raised.

So please dig deep and donate now.

I thank you in advance for your kindness and support.

Chris

p.s. Here is a summary of the first event - Beginning at Royal Hospital Chelsea, the 52 mile London bike ride route will take you around some of the most iconic areas of London. You’ll cycle past the London Eye and take in views of St Paul's Cathedral and Tower Bridge before heading through Vauxhall and down to Richmond to circle the park and Wimbledon Common. It is a charity bike ride that will challenge you and show you London in a different light.
