We are the UK’s leading autism research charity. Our mission is to create breakthroughs that enable all autistic people to live happier, healthier, longer lives. We do this by funding research, shaping policy and working with autistic people to understand their needs.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page and to everyone who has donated so far, it is really impressive to see such generousity amongst those who know me.

Well I did it, not that I can quite believe it myself. The day was beautiful if not a little too hot by the time the finish line loomed up at mile 13. I managed to keep running the entire time even when faced with a hill just after mile 11, they could have told us.

Thank you to mother and Anthony who kept me moving at mile 7 cheering me on even it was brief and they missed me at mile 10. A huge well done to Anthony for getting a finshing line picture and only nearly missing it again by a few minutes. maybe I need to get him running alongside me.

Over all Autism Speaks has raised £30,000 for research so a huge thank you to all who have donated and if you haven't go on, even £1 is valuable.

Well here is to my next event not that I have decided what that will be yet.

Opps my official time: 2 hours 5 minutes and 52 seconds!!!!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Autism Speaks gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

I have chosen Autism as my chartity to show my solidarity with my godson's brother, Kubi and in recognition of the the work my mother has done as a teaching aide supporting a child affected by autism.

Thanks again for all your generousity!!!
