Yes!! Before you all faint, I am running the London Marathon!!
The closest I have been to a marathon before is tearing off its wrapper! Some people have a midlife crisis and buy a motor bike or run off with someone half their age, but no not me, I thought I'd go for the easy option (and cheapest being a Yorkshireman), BIG MISTAKE!
Please please dig deep for Bluebell Wood. After my recent visit to the hospice I need no more motivation than the children, parents and fantastic staff I met. Reading the notes left by parents to children, brothers to sisiters saying, "I'll see you later", "Goodbye for now" and having two boys myself brought me to tears. My pain is nothing compared to theirs, I'm doing my bit so please do yours and sponsor me.
