Sense Scotland is a Scottish charity and specialised social care provider supporting people with communication support needs associated with complex and sensory disabilities, and their families, where individual needs and choices come first.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page!

14 of us from the CICA are braving the zipslide across the Clyde on May 17th.  It starts from the Finnieston crane which is 140feet high and ends at the other side of the clyde - it's like flying without wings, apparently!!

The mad mob are: Linda MacLean, Michael Gallagher, Jill Rosie, Jacqui Preston, Margaret McGunnigal, Kevin Turnbull, Sharon King, Emmajane English, Nathalie Leger, Claire Martin, Kirsten Lynchahon, Gerry Moore, Gemma Carroll and Peter Mellin.

We are doing this spectacular event to raise money for Sense Scotland.  Sense Scotland has been working for over 20 years with children and adults who have communication support needs because of deafblindness, sensory impairment, learning and physical disabilities. One of their key areas of expertise is communication. Working closely with people, often on a one-to-one basis, with the aim of finding out what their aspirations are and how they want to live their lives

We hope to raise in the region of £2000, please help us exceed this target!!!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sense Scotland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now! Every penny counts!
