The ride commemorates our good friend Dr David Ryan, who was killed by a speeding motorist while doing what he liked best: riding his bike.  David was a proud Yorkshireman and our choice of Yorkshire Air Ambulance as one of the two official charities of the ride reflects his no-nonsense Yorkshire attitude.
