<p>Team CJD is; <strong>Andy Tomaso, Claire Tomaso, Rob Bloomfield, Dave Jones, Steve Dupoy, Matt Partridge, Rob Stoddart &amp; Liz Lea.<br /></strong></p> <p>Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, (CJD), is a rare and invariably fatal neurodegenerative disease. The brains of CJD sufferers deteriorate very rapidly, resulting in the rapid onset of dementia and sufferers pass away very quickly. The speed with which the disease takes it's sufferers is devastating for families to witness.</p> <p>We are cycling 60 miles to raise money for the CJD Support Network, a charity close to Andy and Claire's heart. Andy's Mother Carmelina, and more recently his Uncle Gianni, have sadly passed away after suffering with this cruel and devastating disease.</p> <p>The money we hope to raise will go towards paying for a Family Support Day that the charity stage every November.</p> <p>Please donate whatever you can, however small.
