The Care Leavers' Association is a national UK charity run by care leavers, for care leavers. It works for the benefit of all individuals who have spent all, or a part, of their childhood is residential, or foster care. It provides advice and information on issues affecting care leavers and works for significant positive change for present and future care leavers.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We had to delay this fundraising event last year due to personal circumstances, but we are now back on track and we will be hitting the pedals on the 11 April 2010

This is our second CLA Cycle challenge to raise money for the Care Leavers' Association. In 2008 we tackled the North West and this year we'll be riding from central London around the East Anglian coast to Norwich. Along the way we'll pass through Chelmsford, Ipswich and Colchester. We plan to try to meet up with care leavers in the towns that we stop at.

All the money we raise will go to the Care Leavers' Association to support their work to provide services to care leavers and to campaign for a better deal for care leavers and young people in care now. For more information, check out the website: www.careleavers.org.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Care Leavers' Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
