Story

Thanks to all of you that donated. I'm sure this money will help family's affected by cancer when they need it most ( 2 toe nails was a small price to pay). Thanks to everyone that supported me and made this possible (what shall we do next?) ;-)

Thanks to all of you that have donated so far it is really apreciated. the cash really helps familys affected by cancer.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On December 3rd 2012 I am doing a 24 hour treadmill run in memory of my late wife Claire. After witnessing how Claire coped with such dignity through all her treatment I am sure I can run for 24 hours. I will be raising money for Macmillan (75%) and Broad Hinton Primary school (25%) Our 5 year old daughter Carys goes there. Claire passed away on the 25/09/09 aged 31 from cervical cancer after over 18 months of treatment (several operations, chemo & radiotherapy).

During Claire's illness Macmillan were a great help from Tracy the nurse at Bath hospital to Karen the Macmillan advisor at the CAB I don't know how we would have coped without them. So this is just a way of trying to give something back to them.
