Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Story

3 years ago aged 8 my son loved the song 500 miles by the Proclamers and he wanted to do it, so every year we do a walk for a Charity. This year we are walking aprox 30miles from Littlehampton to Newhaven along the beach. On Thursday 2nd August myself, my son Gabs 11 and neighbour Lulu 11 will be dressing in neon clothes and setting off on our walk to raise money for Chestnut Tree House.

Chestnut Tree House is the only hospice for children in Sussex. As well as providing care for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses they also provide support for the whole family.

£25 will enable a child to enjoy an hour in the multi sensory room with a specially trained member of staff.

£50 will give a child the opportunity to spend an hour benefiting from a swim in their hydrotherapy pool.

£100 allows a member of their community care support team to care for a life-limited child in the childs home, allowing the parents or carers to spend an evening out together.

Please help us support this wonderful Charity.
